Hi there.
I'm a UX/UI Design Lead and Innovation Consultant based in Manchester, with 16 years of experience in the digital space.
I started out in digital art direction, which is where I developed my instinct for brand storytelling and interface design. That shaped the way I think about UX and how things look, feel and function.
I work end to end, from early discovery through to delivery, across large scale transformation projects in retail, financial services and enterprise software. I use research, data and design thinking to uncover real user needs and shape them into practical, scalable solutions, combining methods like ethnographic research, usability testing and analytics to make sure decisions are grounded in evidence.
Working with senior stakeholders is a core part of what I do, balancing creativity with commercial reality to land on ideas that are ambitious but genuinely achievable. I have particular experience in complex domains where good design can make a real difference to how people navigate and trust a product.
A large part of my focus goes into designing and evolving design systems and scalable components, bringing consistency and clarity across products. I work closely with front end engineers to make sure design translates properly into build, and I enjoy taking complex problems and breaking them down into something clear and workable. I'm also passionate about mentoring and developing designers, helping them grow in confidence and craft.
I care a lot about the detail, and about creating work that feels thoughtful, accessible and well made.
